ACCESSIBILITY

Our small family business puts its heart and soul into looking after the guests who spend their vacation, a retreat, a business stay or the days of a special occasion with us in our vacation homes. We carry out check-in and check-out personally and are always available to answer questions during your stay. If you wish, we can take care of intermediate cleaning, do the shopping for you, pick you up from the train station or airport, conduct exclusive guided tours, get our boat ready for you, and much more. As this is our focus, we have to save time when making inquiries in advance - we are exclusively digital in this respect. However, this should not be a disadvantage for you, quite the opposite: you will receive all information about the house, the floor plan, bedroom layouts, inclusive services, optional experiences and of course booking and cancellation modalities (are displayed when you have entered your travel period or visit our "Terms and Conditions" page) on our website 24/7.

BOOKING / RESERVATION

The farmhouse can be booked directly on our website under "Book". Here you can also see whether your desired period is still available. Please understand that we do not make any offers - you will see the booking prices once you have specified your desired period. We also do not make reservations, as the coordination effort exceeds the time capacity of our small family team based on experience. The basic overnight price includes 10 persons, additional persons aged 3 and over are charged at €30 per night. Babies and toddlers under 3 years stay free of charge. You can inform us of changes in the number of people at any time, and we will also ask you again about 3 weeks before arrival.

RESIDENCE TIMES

Arrival and departure days for the farmhouse are Thursday and Sunday. Unfortunately, for organizational reasons we cannot deviate from this. Also not from the minimum nights. Exceptions to this are the months of December to February. The Christmas vacations and possibly the Easter vacations also deviate from this, here we have fixed alternating days. Please understand that it is not possible to rent our vacation home for a weekend or even just one night. If you only book the weekend - who will book the other five working days of the week? You guessed it... and that's why it doesn't cover our costs.

PARTIES AND EVENTS

The farmhouse is a popular vacation home for a special occasion and many groups of guests book e.g. as part of a special birthday, for a honeymoon with the family or as part of a quiet wellness hen party. However, the farmhouse is purely a vacation home and not an event location. It is located in a quiet residential area with direct neighbors. We therefore generally do not allow parties or events in the house or in the outdoor areas and ask for your understanding. 

INFORMATION ABOUT THE STAY

After booking you will receive a confirmation with payment information. Your booking is binding once we have received the deposit of 50%. You can also find experiences and packages for your stay on the website. Feel free to browse a little, there are great experiences waiting for you. Please note that these are optional and a booking of the house cannot be made dependent on the availability of the partners. We do not earn anything from them and merely establish the contact. 

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

The farmhouse has equipment that is unique in Germany. This means that the cleaning and maintenance effort is very, very high. We would love to be able to work our magic, so we could have the house ready for occupancy again in seconds with a wink of the eye and offer all guests a late check-out or early check-in. Until this works, our team of 4-5 people is busy for 6-7 hours on arrival and departure days. Therefore, the farmhouse is ready for occupancy from 4 pm, check-out must be by 10 am. In the low season from December to February we can also make exceptions. Please ask us, but we can only make binding commitments at short notice, depending on the availability of our team.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE POOL / CHILD SAFETY

Thanks to the pool cover in combination with our solar-powered heat pump, the pool can in principle be used all year round. Nevertheless, it is an outdoor pool that is mainly used in the warmer months of the year. The pool is also heated to a pleasant 26-28 degrees during off-peak times. We try to make it usable at this temperature all year round, but cannot guarantee operation below 0° C. In sub-zero temperatures and bad weather, it is better to use the HotTub - this can be heated by fire and is therefore ideal, especially in winter. In addition to saving energy and functioning as a "small indoor pool", the pool cover also serves as a child safety device as it has a push-and-turn mechanism with a lock. Perfect for families with younger children (or adventurous dogs).

WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY

We have built the farmhouse to be wheelchair-friendly. The first floor, terrace, garden and entrance area are all accessible at ground level. One bedroom and one bathroom have wide sliding doors and enough space to turn around. There is a shower stool, support aids and the washbasin is wheelchair accessible. This makes it ideal for people with physical limitations, disabilities or senior citizens. However, the farmhouse is not barrier-free. The upper floor is only accessible via the stairs, and the sauna area and hot tub in the garden are only accessible via steps. We also have no permanently installed support aids.

PETS

You are welcome to bring up to 2 dogs with you, please specify when booking. We charge €25 per night for one dog. We are happy to provide food bowls and dog towels for your four-legged family members. 

ACCOMMODATION FOR EVERY BUDGET

Our family business offers accommodation to suit all budgets and group sizes. Take a look at the Moselle Chalets, the Genuss Cottage or the Lux Holiday Apartment - all located in Pommern on the Moselle, about 8 km from the farmhouse. If you are planning a business stay, for example, and would like more privacy in the bedrooms, we recommend that you also book the Mosel Chalets.
