Taste wine right where it grows – a unique, exclusive wine experience that starts in the wine village of Pommern, a 12-minute drive from Das Farmhaus. Led by master winemaker Hildegard Moritz of the award-winning Schneiders Moritz winery, your tasting hike takes you through the vineyards on the Mosel’s longest continuous south-facing slope, with these stops:

Stop 1: Just a few steps from the terraces of the Mosel Chalets, our other vacation homes, lies the “Im Grau” vineyard. Here we start with a Riesling sparkling wine.

Stop 2: At “Deere Groove,” we’ve planted Gewürztraminer – very rare on the Mosel and an absolute highlight.

Stop 3: We climb the hill toward the Kapellenberg, and “auf Klay” we taste the Pinot Blanc right in front of the vines.

Stop 4: At the “auf Daupes” lookout, we enjoy not only the view over Pommern but also our off-dry Riesling.
