At the Farmhaus, a lot revolves around wine and good food, because the Mosel offers excellent wines from outstanding family wineries with long traditions. One of them is the Schneiders Moritz winery in Pommern. According to “Der Feinschmecker,” it’s one of the best wineries in Germany, and “Gault&Millau,” “Falstaff” and “Eichelmann” regularly honor its wines, too.

Exclusively for our guests, Kilian Moritz hosts wine experience tastings at the Farmhaus. Set out on a sensory journey and learn all about the grape varieties and vineyard sites on the Mosel’s longest continuous south-facing slope.

Enjoy a private 1.5–2-hour wine tasting with family and friends, right at the Farmhaus.

Tip: If you don’t feel like cooking, add our private chef and treat yourselves twice over.

Please note that this experience may not be available during certain times of the year, such as the grape harvest. If that’s the case, taste the wines in the wine fridge, pick your favorites and visit the wineries in person.

Prices:
For the exclusive wine tasting, the winery charges a flat fee of €80. This is a ONE-TIME fee and covers 5 participants. Each additional person is €15.

Ideally, book a date 2–8 weeks before arrival.
