HOW TO REACH US
Our small family business takes wholehearted care of every guest who spends a vacation, a retreat, a business stay or a special occasion with us. We usually handle check-in and checkout in person and are always available for questions during your stay. If you’d like, we can arrange a mid-stay cleaning, do your grocery shopping, pick you up from the train station or airport, give exclusive guided tours, get our boat ready for you and much more. Because that’s where our focus is, we keep things efficient before you arrive: all pre-booking inquiries are handled digitally. That’s no disadvantage for you at all, quite the opposite. Our website gives you 24/7 access to everything about the house: floor plan, bedroom layouts, what’s included, optional experiences and, of course, booking and cancellation terms (shown once you enter your travel dates, or see our Terms & Conditions page).

How many guests does Das Farmhaus sleep?
Up to 14 guests in about 3,200 sq ft (300 m²) with 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Kids under 3 stay free.
Is Das Farmhaus a good fit for a business offsite or team retreat?
Yes. Fast Wi-Fi, a 480 sq ft (45 m²) yoga room, a cinema, pool and sauna make Das Farmhaus a great setting for focused work and downtime. We don’t offer catering; the kitchen and outdoor kitchen are fully equipped.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, up to 2 dogs are welcome. The property is fully fenced.
Can we rent Das Farmhaus for a party, like a bachelor or bachelorette party?
Unfortunately, bachelor and bachelorette parties, parties and weddings aren’t possible at Das Farmhaus. Of course, that doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate – just within the maximum number of guests and on the quiet side, since we’re at the edge of the village with neighbors close by.
What are the payment and cancellation terms?
A 50% deposit is due at booking; 30% of the total price is non-refundable once booked. You can cancel up to 30 days before arrival. Our full Terms & Conditions are on our website.

WHO IS DAS FARMHAUS PERFECT FOR?
Das Farmhaus is perfect if you’re planning: a vacation in Germany with family and friends, without a long journey or the stress of flying. A multigenerational family vacation. A family reunion where everyone gets together every year – the location is ideal for that. A milestone birthday, an anniversary or a honeymoon. A quiet spa weekend for a bride-to-be. A get-together with friends. An exclusive retreat, a workation or a creative break. An offsite in a private setting. A yoga retreat. Group coaching.
WHO IS DAS FARMHAUS NOT RIGHT FOR?
Events with more than 14 people, even if only during the day. Das Farmhaus is not an event venue and sits in a quiet residential area with neighbors right next door. That’s why we unfortunately can’t allow parties or events in the house or outdoor areas. Thank you for understanding.
BOOKING / RATES
You can book Das Farmhaus directly on our website under “Book“. Before you commit, you’ll see the exact price and whether your dates are available. If you have questions before booking, just email us and we’ll reply as soon as we can. The base nightly rate includes 10 guests; each additional guest aged 3 and up is €50 per night. Babies and toddlers under 3 stay free. You can let us know about changes to your group size at any time, and we’ll check in with you again about 3 weeks before arrival.
LENGTH OF STAY
In high season, there’s a 3-night minimum over weekends and 2 nights midweek. In the off-season, weekend stays are possible too. Just click through the calendar to see the possible arrival and departure days. School holidays and public holidays may differ.
ABOUT YOUR STAY
After booking, you’ll receive a confirmation with payment details. Your booking is confirmed once we’ve received the 50% deposit. You’ll also find experiences and packages for your stay on our website. Feel free to browse – there are some wonderful experiences waiting for you. Please note that these are optional, and a booking of the house can’t be made dependent on our partners’ availability.
CHECK-IN AND CHECKOUT
Das Farmhaus has amenities you won’t find anywhere else in Germany, which means cleaning and maintenance take a lot of work. We’d love to be able to work magic and have the house ready again in seconds with a wink. Until that happens, our team of 4–5 people needs 6–7 hours on changeover days. That’s why check-in is from 4 p.m. and checkout is by 10 a.m. In the off-season and on request, a late checkout or early check-in can be added at short notice. Just email us about 4 weeks before your stay.
POOL / CHILD SAFETY
Thanks to the pool enclosure and our solar-powered heat pump, the pool can be used almost year-round. Still, it’s an outdoor pool that’s mainly used in the warmer months. In spring and fall, it’s heated to 82 °F (28 °C). Below 41 °F (5 °C) we stop heating it, since that wouldn’t make sense for energy efficiency. You’re still welcome to use it, for example as a cold plunge after the sauna. The hot tub is wood-fired year-round, which makes it ideal in winter. Besides saving energy and turning the pool into a “mini indoor pool”, the enclosure also works as child-proofing: it has a push-and-turn mechanism with a lock. Perfect for families with young children.
WHEELCHAIR-FRIENDLY
We built Das Farmhaus to be wheelchair-friendly. The ground floor, terrace, garden and entrance are step-free. One bedroom and one bathroom have wide sliding doors and enough room to turn. There’s a shower stool and grab aids, and the sink has knee clearance. So it’s also great for guests with limited mobility, disabilities or seniors. However, Das Farmhaus is not fully accessible: the upper floor is only reachable by stairs, and the sauna and hot tub in the garden have steps. We also don’t have permanently installed grab bars.
PETS
You’re welcome to bring up to 2 dogs; please let us know when you book. Each dog is €25 per night. We’re happy to provide food bowls and dog towels for your four-legged family members.
STAYS FOR EVERY BUDGET
Our family business offers places to stay for every budget and group size. Take a look at the Mosel Chalets, the Genuss Cottage or the LUX apartment – all in Pommern on the Mosel, about 5 miles (8 km) from Das Farmhaus. If you’re planning a business stay, for example, where more privacy in the bedrooms is important, we recommend adding a booking at the Mosel Chalets.
